With increasing demand, we are looking for another Trades Person to assist our Furniture Assembly Team. This involves assembling machined and sanded furniture components into pieces of furniture ready to polish and final assembly of polished parts and hardware to complete furniture ready for despatch.
The person we are looking for will have a good feel for quality fit and finish and have a good eye for what will please the discerning customer.
Picking correct parts.
Fitting hardware such as hinges and drawer runners.
Assembling with dowels glue and other fixings.
Checking over, sanding and flushing joints ready for finishing
Skills and Experience:
At least 2 years' experience in cabinetmaking or joinery.
Proven ability to assemble furniture or cabinets.
A good eye for quality fit and finish.
Great work ethic and punctuality.
Ability to work with others and get on with the team.
Physically fit and able to lift furniture parts.
Tidy and orderly approach to creating a great finish.
Enjoy getting the job done in a timely fashion.
