We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our Head Office in Mount Maunganui.
As our Accounts Administrator, you will be providing financial accounting services and administrative support to the Executive Management team and Board, as well as general office and administration support to the company. You will be responsible for managing all activities related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, GST preparation, budget and financial reporting, and payroll.
To be successful in this role you will need to have 3+ years experience in an Accounts Administration or similar role, as well as proficiency in MYOB accounting software.
Key skills and attributes include:
Finance or Accounting background and/or certificate
Monthly closing experience
Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
Analytical and strong problem solving skills
Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to work to deadlines and exhibit strong time management
A positive, can-do attitude and focus on solutions
A friendly demeanour
Flexible and adaptable
A team player
Practical knowledge of retail accounting and/or experience with Exonet would be advantageous, but is not essential.
This is a full time role working 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Some after hours will be required for month end processing.
