Tertiary qualifications in accounting studying towards CA to CPA
Ability to work with accuracy and speed with numbers
Support and work closely with the 2 Accountants at the South Hub

To help with this mission, Eagers Automotive is seeking a proactive, experienced Assistant Accountant to join the Admin team at Manukau (South Hub). The role is full time (Mon-Fri) and based in Manukau.
The primary function of this position
To assist in managing the financial accounting resources in order to provide professional services to both internal and external customers. To assist in providing accurate and timely financial reporting. General administration duties will be required to help with the day to day running of the Admin department.
The successful applicants will demonstrate the following:
Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting role
Automotive experience advantageous but not essential
Intermediate to advanced level computer skills
Proficiency in Excel and Word (ERA knowledge desirable)
A proactive & mature approach to your work
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Strong organisational and administrative ability
Outgoing, bubbly personality
