Wight Aluminium is one of New Zealand's largest aluminium fabricators, delivering commercial aluminium joinery solutions to clients throughout the North Island. We have project management and design offices in Auckland, Hamilton, and Whanganui, and two newly constructed manufacturing plants in Hamilton and in Whanganui.

Investment in our manufacturing facilities and operations means we are now one of the largest aluminium joinery manufacturers in the North Island.
We are now seeking an experienced Draftsperson / CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in our new purpose-built Whanganui factory.
You will be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings for the appropriate installations of windows, facades, and panels. This role requires a competent person with solid AutoCAD knowledge
To be considered, ideally you will be/have:
AutoCAD experience
Knowledge of facade engineering and construction and building codes
Knowledge of and experience working with APL extrusions
Clear communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Punctual and motivated
Ability to work unsupervised and problem solve
A team player
This is a full time Monday - Friday position. Remuneration will be aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
