We require an experienced Storeperson to become part of the Warehouse team in Henderson.
Duties and responsibilities:
Managing inwards and outwards goods
Deliveries
Preparing jobs for installation
Booking and managing installations
Customer service
Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and take responsibility are all essential in this role - you will be receiving carpets rolls and cutting them to order, meaning your role is vital in ensuring the quality of the product as well as its exact specifications, to eliminate errors for our layers.
Our successful applicant will be able to offer the following attributes:
Sound warehousing experience
Fluent written and verbal English communication
Able to work to deadlines
Confident computer skills, with the ability to easily pick up an industry specific system
High level of physical fitness, as heavy lifting is required in this position
A full, clean New Zealand drivers licence is essential for this role as is a current Forklift licence.
Experience in the flooring industry is preferred, however if you have a background where measuring and estimating has been a critical part of your role, those skills are easily transferable.
