The team at Harcourts Cooper & Co are looking for an enthusiastic and focused Accounts Assistant to join our award winning team.
We are looking for a professional and personable Accounts Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Branches and Finance team. This position requires a resilient, efficient, enthusiastic and detail oriented person that has a willingness to learn and support others.
This is a fast-paced and broad accounting role managing a range of finance, accounting and administration activities. You will be responsible for providing a high level of professional, efficient and effective support. Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in a finance role or formal studies in finance.
Working with the Finance Team your responsibilities will include:

Problem Solving skills - be fast thinking and supportive
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong numerical skills
Strong MS Office experience in particular excel
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional organisation and time management skills
Excellent planning skills with ability to meet deadlines
Previous accounting experience or an accounting diploma/degree, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and exposure to a range of accounting duties. Experience using Xero and/or NetSuite will be helpful, but not a necessity
Work autonomously in a busy environment, as well as closely with the team
