  • The Skin Institute has been operating in New Zealand for 25 years focusing on skin cancer treatments, veins, medical dermatology, cosmetic surgery, appearance medicine and skin care. The Group also has two Retail Brands that specialise in advanced, laser, skin, body treatments including appearance medicine.

    Based in Takapuna, this role is part of the Group Finance team and reports directly to the Group CFO.

    To succeed, you will have a strong commercial focus, communicate well to various levels of stakeholders and be comfortable providing sound commercial input into business performance, planning and decision making.

    Key job responsibilities:
    • Drive the planning process and possess strong forecasting and budgeting skills
    • Provide insight into the current and future business performance that adds value
    • Advise on financial and operational activities that deliver on key strategic initiatives
    • Business Partner members of the Senior Leadership team to drive commercial value
    • Developing, analysing, and advising on operational performance KPIs
    • Analysis of key business drivers and costings to provide commercial advice
    • Actively participate in weekly trading meetings across group businesses
    • Identify and implement areas of Process Improvement & efficiency
    • Play a key finance and commercial role in efficiency projects
    • Adhoc Project Analysis
    • Ownership for group Insurance

    For this role you must be a qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent and have previous experience working in a similar role within New Zealand.
