What we're seeking is an experienced National Engineering Manager and an energetic individual who will provide professional engineering capability for our NZ fibre manufacturing facilities.
The role will be responsible for the Delivery of Engineering projects within the fibre group, coaching & development of our site Engineering teams, and implementation of our National Asset Care management program. The role will also work directly with our sales and design teams to offer customer solutions to drive growth
You can expect to:
Ensure all works carried out under the direction of the role to be in accordance with all HSE expectations
Lead the Asset Care Management Program - Review site convert equipment and advise on improved R&M processes to ensure improved performance and sustainability
Develop relationships with all relevant site personnel to ensure a strong working relationship. Advise and assist with site training for maintenance personnel.
Project management of group projects. Ensure projects are managed safely and efficiently and are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure KPI's for all aspects of the role & site teams are monitored and achieved. Complete service reports, machine condition audits.
Work in parallel with Sales & Design Engineers in offering customer solutions to drive growth.
Skills & Experience
Your toolbox of skills and experiences will be broad. You will have:
Tertiary or Trade qualification
Leadership and Management experience with a strong Engineering background
Ability to build teams, with succession planning and drive a results driven culture
Stakeholder management internal/external
Analytical, Process and Continuous Improvement focused (Lean)
Experience working in a high volume / fast paced customer service environment
