About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to become a part of our engineering team. This role is permanent fulltime with hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
Our factory manufactures safety helmets, and uses specialised purpose-built equipment across several factory departments, such as, painting, clicking, shells, and sewing. You would become a key member of the engineering team ensuring the smooth running of factory equipment.
This role provides and exciting, challenging opportunity for the right candidate.
Routine maintenance of all plant, machinery and building maintenance.
Maintain all maintenance records.
Attending to breakdowns in a timely manner.
Fabricating modifications and improvements to plant and machinery; and,
Fault identification to ensure minimal downtime.
Skills and experience:
A Fitter Trade Qualification.
At least 5 years' practical experience (desirable)
The ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
