Wight Aluminium is one of New Zealand's largest aluminium fabricators, delivering commercial aluminium joinery solutions to clients throughout the North Island. We have project management and design offices in Auckland, Hamilton and Whanganui, and two newly constructed manufacturing plants in Hamilton and in Whanganui.
We're currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in Auckland CBD.
Reporting to the Group General Manager you will be responsible for:
Managing all contractual and financial aspects of projects
Providing expert advice on contract conditions to support informed decision making and improving future contract outcomes
Proactively identifying and managing commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and supply chain risks to attain maximum value from a contract while meeting compliance requirements
Managing and building professional relationships with key stakeholders
Our successful applicant will have:
A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Contract Law
Proven experience in Construction Contracts Administration within NZ preferably within a subcontractor environment
An understanding and experience working with the Construction Contracts Act
Cost management and construction methodology understanding
Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems
Experience using Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft Teams will be highly regarded however not essential
This is a full time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
