Do you want to be part of innovative programmes being delivered at Christchurch Women's Prison and Christchurch Men's prison? We seek to tackle addiction through support authentically grounded in lived experience.
Addiction isolates and disconnects people; breaking the positive natural cycles of their true potential. This is true for all, irrespective of race, ethnicity or culture. By re-discovering our identity and re-connecting to our roots, place of belonging / or indeed Pepeha, Marae and Whanau - holistic growth and wellness follow.
We invite exceptional and motivated applicants to join us. You will be passionate about working within a cultural framework that brings about whole of self and whanau well being. You will co-facilitate groups to clients in the prison, and work on an individual basis with clients and their whanau.
You will be a team player, well organised and have a willingness to develop and adapt to this service.
The preferred applicant will have a relevant qualification (or be working towards this) and have lived and worked experience in AOD and/or mental health work. Start date to be determined.
Hours of work will be mostly mornings, Monday-Friday, but some flexibility is required. Positions available in both women's and men's prison environments, so please indicate your preference.
