  • For over 30 years, Odyssey House Christchurch has had a mission to improve the wellbeing of individuals, family and community affected by addiction, mental health and related issues. The service primarily works with male criminal justice clients in a longer term residential alcohol and other drug programme.

    Working with a passionate team, this role is all about supporting Odyssey's male residents by establishing connections in the wider community to better support integration.

    To be successful in the role, you'll need:
    • experience of the housing and employment sector, with an understanding of the IPS model an advantage.
    • an adaptable approach to working with a diverse client group
    • ability to facilitate groups around employment and housing topics
    • work one on one with clients to prepare CVs and tailor plans
    • a professional approach to working with community connections.
