    We're currently looking for a Meter Reader to join our team. You will be responsible for reading utility meters (gas, power and water) across Wairoa.

    You'll be hard working, pro-active, able to follow instructions and have attention to detail.

    To be successful in this role you will:
    • Have good communication skills as you will be dealing with the public and be a team player
    • Have a good level of physical fitness
    • Be technically savvy - proficient user of computer, mobile phones, emailing etc
    • Be able to pass pre-employment security, drug, alcohol, and credit testing
    • Be able to handle dogs
    • Be aware of Health and Safety as you'll be in an ever changing environment
    • Hold a current drivers licence
    • Be motivated and able to work without direct supervision
    This role will be working varied hours with a guarantee of 20 hours per week.

    You will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

    No previous experience is required for this role, full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

    The hourly rate for this role is $19.00 per hour plus a company car.
