    We are a family owned Audio-Visual company that has been catering to the vast needs of New Zealand's most influential companies as well as the country's top event management teams.

    We currently have a vacancy for an Event Production Coordinator with our busy, energetic team in Wellington.

    You will have the opportunity to manage events from initial client meetings, technical conceptions, preproduction, to the final delivery of the event.

    Your role as a Coordinator will be a mix of office based daily tasks, including delivering budgetary estimates and proposals to clients, as well as going on site to be the key communication point between clients, venues and our technical team.

    In addition to sound logistical planning, an important function is facilitating clear communication between the client, venue, suppliers and our staff.

    Previous experience is not essential however it is preferred.

    There are diverse environments in which you will be able to learn, develop and grow as an Event Production Coordinator, including many opportunities to travel and work in multiple venues nationwide leading to diverse working environments.

    Having a flexible schedule and an ability to work varied and at times long hours is crucial to this role.

    Using your experience and knowledge from the planning stages right through to delivery of the product is extremely rewarding.

    Your ability to offer solutions and advice to our clients is paramount in ensuring they are satisfied and feel that we deliver a product that exceeds their expectations.

    This role needs someone who is willing to learn and acquire a broad base of the following skills:
    • Scheduling and planning of upcoming events
    • Preparing quotes and estimates
    • Designing and presentation of concepts and floorplans
    • Onsite event delivery and coordination
    • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
    • To travel within NZ as requested/required
    • Flexible working hours which include evenings and weekends
    • Have a current drivers' license
    • Ability to network and establish new clients and relationships
    • Ideally have a business qualification or similar
