  • For over 30 years, Odyssey House Trust Christchurch has been working with clients affected by drug and alcohol addiction, mental health and related issues. We focus on the wellbeing of individuals, family and community.

    We are looking for an experienced practitioner to join our friendly team who work predominantly with clients in the criminal justice system. ADAS work in Canterbury prisons, at Community Probation sites, at the Justice Precinct and in the community.

    You will complete alcohol and drug assessments and provide case management and individual and group interventions to clients. You will also work with stakeholders to provide treatment advice and reports. You will need excellent organisational skills and the ability to be a team player. You must be able to work up to 1-2 evenings per week.

    The preferred applicant will hold a health professional qualification and have experience in AOD and/or mental health work.
