  • For over 30 years, Odyssey House Trust Christchurch has been working with clients affected by drug and alcohol addiction, mental health and related issues. We focus on the wellbeing of individuals, family and community.

    We are looking for Peer Support Worker to join our friendly team who work predominantly with clients in the criminal justice system. ADAS work in Canterbury prisons, at Community Probation sites, at the Justice Precinct and in the community.

    You will complete alcohol and drug brief assessments, individual and group interventions to clients. You'll provide information to clients on resources and options available to them, and walk alongside them until they are in treatment.

    You must be able to work up to 1-2 evenings per week.

    The preferred applicant will have a relevant qualification (or be prepared to work towards this) and have experience in AOD and/or mental health work. Start date to be determined.
