This is an excellent opportunity for an organised Payroll Advisor to join a well-established Group in the Motor Industry. At Ebbett Waikato, we offer great long term career opportunities and are known for having an excellent team culture.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Maintain and process payroll for weekly & monthly pays
Deal with pay queries and providing support to employees and management
Provide support for payroll processes to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time
Process terminations, maternity leave and annual leave
Prepare payments, balance and reconcile payroll PAYE, Kiwisaver, and other associated payroll generated payments and deductions
Complete monthly reporting
Update and maintain staff records and new starters and leavers
Respond to and problem solve any payroll queries that arise
Continuously streamline payroll processes
Skills and experience:
1+ years payroll experience
Strong numeracy, and software literacy, ideally MYOB or IMS Payroll
High attention to detail and high accuracy
An understanding of current legislation to ensure the company is compliant
Intermediate excel skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously, act decisively, and work to tight deadlines
