  • We're a 100% New Zealand owned and operated wholesaler and manufacturer that is enjoying significant growth.

    We're looking for an experienced, self motivated, enthusiastic and hands on Customer Service extraordinaire to assist our manufacturing department, based in West Auckland.

    In this role you will be required to lead our Customer Service team as well as perform Customer Service and Sales Support activities by building strong relationships with customers, sales staff and the operational delivery teams.

    Other tasks include:
    • Assist in enhancing our systems and processes to optimize customer services
    • Assist with daily order entry, quotes, phone calls and queries/complaints
    • Liaise closely with other departments and keep the team up to date with out of stock products, promotions, price changes and production lead times
    • Mentor staff through one on one meetings providing coaching and positive reinforcement to develop employees further
    • Ensure a positive team environment encouraging staff ideas and contributions
    • Monitoring KPI's to ensure optimised department performance and management of workloads to meet customer needs
    The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
    • Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience working with B2B and repeat clients
    • An inspiring, positive coach
    • Excellent phone manner, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
    • Strong customer service ethic and a sense of empathy
    • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent initiative and self motivation
    • A 'can do' attitude
    • Confident computer skills and the ability to pick up new programs quickly
    • A current Full driver's licence
    A basic technical knowledge and knowledge of vehicle makes and models is highly regarded, however training can be provided.
