Established is 1923, Barfoot & Thompson is Auckland's leading real estate company which is still family owned and operated. The Body Corporate division was acquired 4 years ago and in this time they have built a solid reputation in the industry which has led to significant business growth.
They currently have the rare opportunity for an ambitious and knowledgeable body corporate professional to build on their current success and take over the Head of Body Corporate role. The incumbent manager has an exciting overseas opportunity they could not turn down, however, their strong connection with the business will allow you to use them as a point of contact to aid your smooth transition into the role.
Bringing your natural leadership abilities you will mentor, drive and coach an established and high performing team of account managers and administrators.
Your responsibilities include:
Overseeing the Body Corporate Branch and managing the Body Corporate team
Developing new business opportunities with existing and new developments
Developing policies to improve on and refine internal processes and procedures
Ensuring the business meets legislative requirements and best practice standards
You will manage a small portfolio of clients and provide cover to Body Corporate managers as needed
The successful candidate will be customer focussed, solution driven and have proven experience in body corporate/team management with an in-depth knowledge of unit titles.
This role is based in the modern Barfoot & Thompson Grey Lynn office and includes a company car.
