    What this job involves

    Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for a receptionist. As the first point of contact for our Auckland office you will sit at reception area with stunning views of the harbour.

    This is an important role at JLL and is the first point of contact for clients and visitors to the office as well as to those calling in on our main telephone line. Here you will build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and vendors.

    As receptionist, you will be responsible for all aspects of front of house where you will ensure all guests receive a friendly welcome as they arrive at our office. As well as the usual reception tasks, you'll also provide central administrative support across the firm for some of our business lines.

    Whilst this position is based at reception you won't always be tied to your desk as you be responsible for taking care of the meeting rooms, ensuring the kitchen is tidy and well stocked and organising events.

    This role will provide plenty of variety and there will be some constant daily duties but you could find yourself doing anything from arranging couriers to booking travel, sorting and distributing mail to managing events for client functions and staff.

    This is a full time, Monday - Friday position working 8am - 5pm.

    • A master of time management with the ability to multi task and take ownership of your work;
    • Comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite with the ability to pick up new systems and technology with ease; and have good written and verbal communication skills and strong work ethics.
    Previous corporate office experience would be beneficial. And for someone with all the right skills and attitude there will be the opportunity to advance in the future.
