    Swages Engineering Ltd is the largest contract CNC machine shop in New Zealand. We have 48 modern CNC machines with the latest in machine tools, tooling and quality control equipment. Based in East Tamaki, we produce components for local and export markets.

    We have permanent positions in our day and evening shifts. There will be extra hours available during busy periods.

    For this position you must be:
    • Skilled in all aspects of CNC lathe or machining centre setting
    • Understand cutting speeds and feeds on all materials
    • Competent in the use of carbide cutting tools
    • Able to troubleshoot problematic jobs
    • Production focused
    • Have a sense of urgency about what you do
    • Know how to turn up everyday on time
    • Have at least 5 years experience in setting CNC machines
    • Able to demonstrate your knowledge to us through a practical test
    • Good English communication skills are essential
    Remuneration will depend upon your capabilities, but will be in line with the responsibilities the position entails and current market rates.

    You must either have a work visa for at least 2 years or NZ resident
