We currently have a vacancy for an Experienced Practice Nurse to join our team as our current nurse is relocating out of Auckland.
We are looking for a professional Registered Nurse who is a motivated and willing learner to join our busy team. You will enjoy working in a supportive, friendly environment which focuses on a holistic patient centered model of care.
This role can be negotiated as either a four day, Tuesday to Friday 34 hours per week, or five day, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, role between 8am - 5.45pm.
Our ideal applicant will have:
Current Practicing Certificate and CPR certificate
Current vaccinator certificate
Demonstrate your commitment to working in a busy primary health care team
Motivated and willing learner
Strong organisation and time management skills
Excellent understanding of patient confidentiality & infection control
Exceptional listener and communicator
A familiarity with Practice Management System MedTech 32
Ability to provide telephone triage
Smear Taker registration
You will call on all your nursing training in this role. You will be required to assist with maintaining RNZCGP cornerstone accreditation standards, and knowledge and understanding of clinical Chronic Care Management programmes and the "Planned Proactive Care" initiative is advantageous.
It is important you are capable of thriving in a fast changing environment, and are open to new concepts and ideas.
You will be efficient and accurate with your record keeping and administration work.
